Best game streaming solution out there. Lowest latency, highest frame rates, and up to 4K!

I do really like this one. Many years ago I've tried to accomplish what this program set out to do using Logmein. Not really being a tool aimed for gaming, the limitations and latency made it the wrong tool for the job. This not only has that same function of remote-desktop control, but it does so with low latency, solid visual fidelity, multiple-controller support and other useful settings, such as determining what programs the guest can see, or if the guest can control anything in the first place. The whole being-free thing is the icing on the cake.

Assuming you have a reliable connection and ok enough hardware, it works quite nicely. Been using for years with friends from separate states and it really opens up what you can do. I've played all sorts of local multiplayer games with emulators, let friends play some single-player stuff and watch them (or the other way around), watched all sorts of videos with them, and I also sometimes connect to my own PC and do stuff remotely.

The section for playing with strangers is currently quite iffy in beta, but for my use case, Parsec has been really good, even if its intricacies can be hard to wrap your head around at first.

I like parsec but forget about "low latency" if you live away from a data centre. I live in Ireland and the latency was very bad

It has much lower latency overall than alternatives
It lets AMD, Nivida, and Intel all host as opposed to for example Moonlight which I use to use all the time
It's free
I can send feedback to the devs and expect a response really quickly (Maybe it's because I'm a "Hero" on the discord but Idk)
It works quite fantastically most of the time
