What is Ondsel?

Ondsel is a fork of FreeCAD that is aimed at the prosumer market, and is open source (GitHub). It provides a more polished interface compared to freeCAD. The team also develops new features based on user demand. For the paying customers, it offers a subscription-based online platform, which lets the users collaborate. The user has complete control on sharing of his designs.

Ondsel is designed to solve the most annoying bug in FreeCAD: the toponaming problem.

It was launched in January 2023, and focuses on improving the FreeCAD interface. The improved code is provided back to FreeCAD.
