Damn easy to use-once linked with your PC syncing files is super easy and doesn't even need you to interact with your phone.
Allows you to backup most of your phone's content.

The one issue I did notice is that it wouldn't connect to some phones for some reason. It just doesn't find them and then I have to end up using the IP address of the phone, but this becomes an issue if the IP address changes which means I have to re-enter the new IP address.

Free. Uncluttered interface, notification mirroring. Really good file synchronisation options.

Stand alone, smart, reliable application. Without cloud services or any other possible data leakages..
You can control your sms, calls, calendar, sync, see phone status, network status, get desktop notifications, and my personal favorite (although nowdays people are using it less and less) is sms chat
Fantastic app!!!
Only downside is it is not linux oriented..

I use this program with an android 4 phone, specially for the sync feature. I love how when the phone connect to my wifi, the autosync start and sync my data (camera, music folders, etc). The interface is not very easy, but when you configure the program this works like a charm.

I test airdroid and a few others but MPE is the best so far.
