Really nice, but gets expensive

I bought the pro edition for Windows because it seemed to do everything I was looking for in a very simple way. It's let me organise a project I was working on and get some clarity to what has to be done and in what order it needs to be achieved. No faulting it's ability to do that.

However, I also want to be able to update the plan on my iPad, so I installed the iPad version. WiFi sync was faultless and I was quickly working on both iPad and PC, swapping projects with ease. That's when I found that I needed to pay around 50% of the Windows price for the iPad app in order to retain sync capability. Given that there are many free alternatives out there, and given the price of typical iPad apps, I found the cost of the iPad app makes this a very expensive package.

As a result, I deleted the iPad app and have hardly used MLO on the PC. I guess it depends on needs, but I will always need both PC and iPad.

Have been using MLO for a number of years. Whilst it is probably not the easiest ToDo list manager to learn, what I like is that it incredibly flexible and once you have sussed it out, very quick to use. It doesn't impose a particular way of working so if you like taking bits of different methologies and your own ideas to build a way of working that is personal to you, then MLO is definitely worth consideration.

I've gone through them all, Took ages!! MLO is by far the easiest and most fun to use out of all of them! For complete GTD management this is the one!

I'm using the paid version; entirely worth the investment. I think I'll get even better results with it if I spend some time playing with it - but, within a few minutes of the download, it was clear - without spending a lot of time familarizing myself with its features - that it was exceptionally useful, and stable. A bit of searching the google usergroup established that it was/is well supported by its designer(s), and is a work in progress - that is, I expect it will become more useful over time. JS
