I tried this player when I was looking for a descent player for MacOS, something like foobar2000 or AIMP: native, functional yet simple, not greedy for RAM.

What I like:

  • Doesn't use Electron framework, so uses 80-100 MB of RAM during a regular mp3 playback;
  • Looks ± native on MacOS (not superior, but also not alien);
  • Very simple.

What I don't like:

  • No possibility to save a playlist and then load it back;
  • No tag editor;
  • No support of non-Latin scripts (at least I see some codepage issues);
  • Only one view mode for Folders and Files: tile grid (although it's not informative);
  • No Settings at all;
  • No check for update.
