Comments about Bitwig Studio as an Alternative to MuLab
Because of Bitwig's modular capabilities with The Grid, it's probably the closest DAW feature-wise to MuLab. Both DAWs have minimal UIs to keep things simple and focused on workflow. MuLab is far less expensive and its modularity is more pervasive (its mixer is modular too) while Bitwig is truly cross-platform and has substantially more workflow features (has Ableton-like arrangement tools).
