I just spent 1h to add my accounts and import the history... and lost all my work.

First, the import manager is not intuitive, for example importing is by default done to the first account in alphabetical order and not to the account from which the importing was selected (and it's only possible to copy one transaction at a time from one account to another). Also, when importing transactions with empty fields (for example payee) the software fills-in one of previously used payees (by random?).

Second and most importantly, there is no 'Save' button for the database so I chose 'Save As' to overwrite the existing database file. At this point the program showed a windows saying something like "cannot write to the same file" and reverted back to the previous version of the database. And so I lost all my input....!

So to sum it up it' great to have a free software, but this one is definitely as unpolished as a mine field. I will try to find something without hidden traps.

Only have a build for one Linux distribution and it's the most unused one.

Don't bother with it if you have a Mac, it won't stay running. You can't even get any help unless your on Facebook. Pardon me I meant InYourFacebook, TrackEverythingYouDobook

Update: Don't bother if you use Linux either, they don't have enough ambition to update the address so apt can download it. I wish the makers of this app gave a crap.

Was good but now crashes every time I type in the amount box. There is also now way to get help for it because I am not on facebook and they won't let me register on their forum. Apparently username@gmail.com is not a valid email format. Oh well back to the spreadsheets I guess, that seems to be the only thing that works right. Guess it's too much to ask for a app that tracks budgets and doesn't crash or loose data. In the past eight years I have tried fourteen apps like this and always end up back with spreadsheets.

My personal finance anywhere. Dropbox integration works great. I have synchronized my Mac app and my Android app.
Even though It has a lot of perfectible features, it is an active open source project. That makes it a great project for the humanity wealth.
Love it ??

I've used Quicken, YNAB, and a few others, MM EX is a legit/simple replacement, but otherwise very capable in comparison. Also fairly stupid-easy to use...
