Mason Alternatives

    Mason is described as 'This extension can simplify the rule to just specify the URI and Content type and can enable/disable each rule separately'. There are three alternatives to Mason for a variety of platforms, including Linux, Mac, Windows, Firefox and Google Chrome. The best alternative is Referer Control, which is free. Other great apps like Mason are RefControl (Free) and Smart Referer (Free, Open Source).

    1. Send referers only when staying on the same domain. You can whitelist domains with wildcards and configure other things, look in the preferences page of the addon in the addon manager.
