MacIrssi Alternatives
MacIrssi is described as 'Originally created by Nils Hjelte, the Cocoa port of Irssi has recently fallen out of development and become website-less. Having aquired a copy of the source from Nils, this branch contains my gradual "improvements" to the original 0.8.2 release of MacIrssi' and is an app in the social & communications category. There are eight alternatives to MacIrssi for a variety of platforms, including Mac, Windows, Linux, Web-based and iPhone apps. The best MacIrssi alternative is mIRC. It's not free, so if you're looking for a free alternative, you could try Quassel IRC or Chatzilla. Other great apps like MacIrssi are LimeChat, Colloquy, Textual and Nettalk.
