KeePass Alternatives for Safari

KeePass is not available for Safari but there are some alternatives with similar functionality. The best Safari alternative is Bitwarden, which is both free and Open Source. If that doesn't suit you, our users have ranked more than 100 alternatives to KeePass and nine of them are available for Safari so hopefully you can find a suitable replacement. Other interesting Safari alternatives to KeePass are 1Password (Paid), Dashlane (Freemium), Myki (Freemium) and RememBear (Freemium).

1Password creates strong, unique passwords for all of your sites and logs you in with a single tap (or click). A single click opens your browser, opens a site, fills in your username and password, and logs you in.

      1Password vs KeePass opinions
Some users think 1Password is a great alternative to KeePass, some don't.
1Password is proprietary (not open source) and might not encrypt your URLs (neither does LastPass). A more trustworthy choice is KeePass (or KeePassXC for Mac/Linux with browser integrations). Failing that, try BitWarden, which syncs just like 1Password, except that it's open source and does encrypt your URLs.

TVDN Although it is not Open Source (and usually when you want an alternative to an OS software, you would naturally wish for another OS solution) you can just purchase the applications and you are done. No monthly fees (although 1Password does have a plan option) and has a local database (unless you wish to sync between multiple devices). I also think it is above KeePass due to the extensions, which improve your daily routine quite significantly.
