    It's better to use a password manager than not. By a mile. So use LastPass rather than nothing. But KeePass is prefereable because a) it stores your passwords locally rather than putting it into some US company's hands, b) LastPass doesn't encrypt domain names of your accounts, c) KeePass is open source.

    I use KeePass for credit cards and LastPass for normal accounts. They work fine. LastPass is easy to configure and seems secure enough.

    Why anyone would trust a proprietary closed-source, US-based password manager is beyond me. Try one from this list of open-source alternatives instead: KeePass (local, sync yourself), KeeWeb, Encryptr, KeePassX, Master Password (no database to hack), MacPass.
