OpenShot VS Kdenlive
Is OpenShot a good alternative to Kdenlive?Comments about OpenShot as an Alternative to Kdenlive
Tubby 9417Why use openshot when you can use kdenlive and do more without crashes or lags. Openshot is made with python which makes it unnecessarly slow. I can't recommend it
2Hasan Yildizit's great that it's free and open source.
0ahmed52pretty simple ,cuz it's can't do anything not to mintion crashing alot even though it's "simple"
2tuva-hayabiIt is relatively easy to use and has a nice GUI. It may not be as extensive and powerful as Kdenlive, but you can do a the most usual video editing with it, and there are some useful filter effects and fadings. The render speed is good.

Olive Video Editor VS Kdenlive
Is Olive Video Editor a good alternative to Kdenlive?Comments about Olive Video Editor as an Alternative to Kdenlive
BarrettFeels like VEGAS for Linux users. Somehow more stable than VEGAS/similar editors despite being in alpha
2ahmed52it's fast ,powerfull , stable and lightwate to my potao pc , even more then open shot
2tangycandyOlive Editor is at a solid start. That said, it's nowhere nearly as capable as Kdenlive. It's been in development for a few years now, and seems to only be maintained by a single developper. As the Github repo states, "Olive is alpha software and is considered highly unstable"
0It is a lightweight program and easy to use.
1It's very well made despite being in alpha. Olive seems very promising even at the start, and may eventually become better than Kdenlive. Only time will tell, though.

One is muxing software, the other is editing software.
7AntumDelugeWhile Avidemux is not nearly as robust & feature-full as Kdenlive, it is still a video editing software & does much more than just mux.
1avidemux is not really video editing software in the same sense as kdenlive or other common video editors
