    It never seemed to just... work like Reader did; I have to go through hoops just to add a site to my Feedly, rather than just putting in a URL and suddenly having complete access to that site's RSS. Maybe it's because I was young and ignorant as to how this works when I was using Reader, I don't know.

    same functionality, with a more complicated, but clean, interface. You can reliably use feedly without needing to purchase a subscription

    It's the best alternative to Google Reader that I have ever used. It's not using the more popular these days look that's oversaturated with huge screenshots or banners with only minimal text but uses the interface that is almost identical to what GR offered. Highly recommended!

    Newsblur is fantastic - handles the simple task of keeping track of many feeds very well. Also has many features, like multiple methods of displaying posts, training it to highlight the posts that matter most, lots of organization & filtering methods, etc.
