    OpenStreetMap is definitely a better alternative than Google Maps. OSM doesn't track you or appropriate your data, it's community-built and open source. I use OSM every day to get where I need to go, and if there's a problem with the map, I can fix it myself!

    No navigation abilities. It’s just a mapping service. … The APP, OSMand, is superior to everything else , including Google Maps, though! … It’s coming to the web soon though.

    This is one of those apps, that I really want to like as it is FOSS and respects privacy. Another plus is the nice interface. However, for me, I find the address search functionality lacking and it is hard to differentiate between multiple results with the same street name. This is very important for me as I am on the road a lot.

    I'm searching for a replacement to Google Maps. I mostly use it for live-time public transportation routes and schedules. Unfortunately, HERE WeGo couldn't even get close to a reliably accurate account of the regular schedules in the Canadian city I live, let alone in live-time.

    Good alternative to Google Maps on mobile while based on OpenStreetMap. Allow more fine grained access to data usage and give feedback during data consumption. Routing works relatively well.
