Google Calendar supports offline access from mobile –– but not desktop.

Google Calendar only displays notifications when it is open in your web browser. Regretfully, I did not have it open, so I just missed a meeting.

Google Calendar is easy to use and features plenty of options for integrating with other calendar and scheduling tools. Its ubiquity makes it easy to use as a reference point for scheduling, and it works as a common tool to introduce new computer and smartphone users into the world of online event scheduling.

Being based on the web, it’s super useful across all Operating Systems.

It’s easy to use, setup, and is very straight forward. If all you need is a calendar program that you can sync with all your devices natively so that you receive alerts and notifications without any unnecessary setup, this is the program for you.

its better to be a reference for your scheduling point because of its weak interface and widget...

The End of Google Calendar....

about Google Calendar · · Helpful Not helpful Report as spam

This was the most efficient method for having my calendar across all of the platforms and devices until last week.

Somehow the calendar will no longer sync the Facebook events and these are vital for my businesses.

After searching for an hour or three, I tried the Sunrise app, only to realize that Microsoft has bought out the company, a sure death knell for continued usage.

Sunrise does what I need, but now it will die a sure death at the hands of Microsoft while Google putzes around with no solution for their calendar issues.

I might just go back to paper after this many years...

What a paradigm of disaster - no calendaring app works across all platforms for multiple feeds like Sunrise.

My Franklin Day Planner does, but it just takes longer and I can't click the appointment for map directions.

I prefer the Google Calendar vs. Small Calendar iconCalendar because of its valuable advantages in difference to "Microsoft Live Calendar":
Free SMS (or Email or PopUp) notification, each single event can be declared as public or private, not only all calendars together, full integration of tasks from the best Online ToDoList with "Windows Mobile" access Small Remember The Milk iconRemember The Milk (RTM), weather temperature forecast for each day.
