GlobalFindBar Alternatives

    GlobalFindBar is described as 'Since Firefox 25, the FindBar was made independent for each tab. There are four alternatives to GlobalFindBar for a variety of platforms, including Firefox, Linux, Mac, Waterfox and Windows. The best alternative is FindBar Tweak, which is both free and Open Source.       Context Highlight is a Firefox extension that allows you to highlight all instances (within a webpage) of a word, several words, or a phrase that you currently have selected. Right click anywhere on the page and choose "Clear Highlighting" to reset the page.

      Discontinued

      The extension seems to be no longer developed and it isn't compatible with Firefox 57 and later. The extension still works on XUL-based Firefox forks like Waterfox and Pale Moon
