Similar interface and similar tools.
-2Nothing like Gimp it's a really minimal toned town bad vertion to photoshop and gimp
5Hank_ScorpioMissing loads of features gimp has. Can’t make layers. Selection tools are basically nonexistent. Disappointing.
2Pixlr E has a lot of the same features that GIMP has and Pixlr X allows to make minor edits to photos quickly. Both run in a browser without any need to be installed. And yeah, both are free to use :)

Is PicMonkey a good alternative to GIMP?
Comments about Adobe Photoshop as an Alternative to GIMP
Generally - photoshop is a very good tool, with a lot of staff inside. It's a quite good alternative if a pricing is not a question.
Its not free, should not be listed on par with GIMP
Gimp is an alternative to photoshop, not the other way round
Easiest to use and has the most features. With most Photoshop alternatives you cannot even re-edit text after typing.
Yes, PH costs a lot. But It's still very effective there are much more features for a professional photographer and to my mind PH has more convenient workflow.
