I wanted a tool to make Windows 10 window positioning work like it did in Windows 7. FreeSnap _almost _ does it, making it easy to move a window to the left, right, top, or bottom edge of the screen. Unfortunately, there's a gap between the window and the left or right edge, and if you use it to position 2 windows side by side, there's a substantial gap between them.

I think this has something to do with Windows 10's borderless windows. The built-in Windows 10 positioning software leaves a gap at the edges, too. FreeSnap is a little less annoying because it's simpler to use, but I wish they would make it work like Windows 7 did.

There are more features to FreeSnap that would earn it a higher rating from me, if I cared about them. Maybe you do.

It's 2017 and this is still the best window manager for Windows. I use Moom on OSX (which is great), but for Windows I have yet to find any other program that can precisely resize a window to a certain size (e.g. 1024x768 pixels) AND center the window, or move it to a corner of the screen.
