I switched from Mercurial to Git and was searching for a replacement for TortoiseHg. This was simply the best free Git client I found. The user interface is slick, it's simple and straight forward to use. There is a feedback button in the app, and using it made the developers reply within 2 hours or so - amazing.

Previous user of GitKraken and SourceTree. Now I finally have a free git GUI with nice interface, no sign in required, switchable to dark theme (for Windows as well), and can be used in both personal and work projects.

All the features of SourceTree but way faster and less buggy.

Perfect alternative to GitUp on Windows. Clearly separates dirty changes and staging index, with keyboard navigation allowing to stage files one by one, with visually pleasant diff UI on the right side. Simple way to stage chunks of code.

It feels small and fast and very native to macOS, but it still has all the features I liked from clients I tried such as SourceTree. And you can control it completely through keyboard shortcuts! It has a notification widget for Github notifications, although for me that would be more useful if it did that for Bitbucket as well...
