Avoid Eltima's Flash Decompiler Trillix

If you're in the market for a Flash decompiler, definitely avoid Trillix, especially if you use a Mac. My experience has been that Eltima's functionality, documentation and customer support are dismal.

When I couldn't get a decompiled .fla file to open, it took two days for their support person to get back to me, and then they were more snotty than helpful. And if you have a Mac, you should know that the software is missing key features, like the ability to edit a swf file directly. Never mind that their decompiler comparison page http://www.swf-decompiler.org/flash-decompiler-comparison/?gr=sothink3 indicates the software provides swf editing capabilities with no Mac disclaimer (I've copied the page in case they change it after the fact), and the price is the same for both platforms.

I also found their Mac documentation inaccurate and unreliable. I've copied pages from their user documentation that in no way resemble the actual software appearance or functionality. Screen shots don't match up, files don't save with the promised filename convention, etc.

I can't say whether the Windows version is any better, but my experience with Eltima/Trillix has been disappointing at best. Definitely go with Sothink, or another non-Eltima decompiler.
