Not very impressed... the interface is confusing and I tried the same copy operation from hdd to flash drive using both teracopy and fastcopy. TeraCopy beat the crap out of it, at 7.9MB/s, fastcopy at 5.3MB/s.

TeraCopy is crap. Because TeraCopy fragments the files, even when copying to a freshly formatted hdd. And in my test, TeraCopy wasn't faster than FastCopy.

Does this product get past the 260 character limitation when copying directories?

Very nice app... I was looking for something to fastly copy files... did not test other similar apps, but it is definitely faster then copy routines of Far Manager and Unreal Commander... So it is surely worth to try.

Another quality product from Japan! Maybe because of its origin, it hasn't got much attention. I must admit that I just knew about it via a user comment on some tech site.

Excuse me, but FastCopy is crap. Why? Because it fragments the files, even if copied to a blank, freshly formatted hdd. I compared it to GS richcopy 360, roboCopy and KillCopy.

TeraCopy uses closed proprietary code and is not open source.

I gave FastCopy 3.80 a try but cancelled during the operation. I was copying 41 Gb of files from a laptop to an almost empty WD Elements external drive.
