Great but have some issue

Probably the best PDF reader out there. Have even a windows version. The only flaw is the lack of support of underlined annotation in PDF.

Hi, it is good app. but it doesn't support annotation on Linux (I have stable ver 3.4 on LUbuntu 12.04) .
Also their official feature list https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Evince/Features doesn't say it supports comments ?!
( i got there from https://projects.gnome.org/evince/ )

So i think someone should change description of this app on Alternativeto.net , since "adding and editing PDF annotations (comments)." is not in Linux yet.

On my Linux system Anotation works correctly.

How to install on mac?

I have no experience with Mac, but it should go as follows:

The basic idea behind MacPorts is that it allows a user running Mac OS X to easily download, compile and install various programs, Gentoo-style. Their docs are rather extensive so you should simply try to follow them attentively.

Good program, but it didn't copy text from PDF to clipboard - what a disappointment =(

That only happens in certain pdf, usually made from old documents, because they are images scanned from the original source.

I've been downloading a lot of PDF viewers, and after downloading this one, I was instantly in love. It didn't crash when I pushed it like Sumatra. It has previews on the side, it's very fast, has great text selection, and it's always active, unlike Foxit's nastiness. The only issues I had were how it wanted to install in Application Data, which was easy to fix, and my only current issue: It opens the same, tiny size each time. There may be a setting somewhere, but I'd like it to open at 100% each time.
