Well.

originally I wanna upload files to google drive and be protected.
At first I use cryptomator alone, which is FOSS, and aes256.
With ctmt, i can download each file individually. not a whole 4TB or 4GB bundle of files.

But I am a paranoid.
I need 2nd layer of protection.
For this i use cryptsync.
cryptsync files into INDIVIDUAL *.7z (aes256), then put on ctmt-encrypted google drive.
Good point is: again I can dnld each file individually, not a whole 4TB/4GB bundle of files.

ctmt have short coming: not yet support files > 4GB (due to windows native webdav).
it can upload/dnld by cyberduck, but only for storage.

for me, i wanna play the movie from google drive.
in this, boxcryptor (commercial, close source) work-ed.
just the free version dunt hide the name and google know which porn star is my favorite.

ps: cryptsync is short of buggy... suggested by others.
in my 1st trial, i deleted some files in the target folder in the "one way" config.
however in my source folder, some files SEEMS to be deleted.
in the trash can, i only found files from the target folder!!!
it's strange becoz if I wrongly delete from the source, the trash can shd also have it.

so finally, being forced to work with this buggy cryptsync.

I work this way:

real source of file--> make a 1st copy of files, cryptsync into 7.zip, test decrypt in another hdd.
then beyond compare to the 1st copy.

yeah it take 5 steps to do so.
and in each trial, the files in test-decrypt folder are deleted, to make sure the 7.zip are really working.

ok. found that the oneway is for "sync" only. for add/delete files the "oneway" option is not working
