Coursera Reviews

Quality lessons and materials from reputable educators and institutions. Most of the content and lessons are available to anyone for free, or to "audit" the course. There is also the option, for many courses, to obtain a certificate of completion for a fee. Great learning resource.

I've actually given Coursera a go and I can tell you that it was quite good. Its intro to marketing class by the Wharton School was interesting but I just stumbled upon this great online learning tool called Cudoo ( http://cudoo.com/ ) and it's particularly good for learning languages! Right now I'm using the free trial to learn some Portuguese and it's been great. It's definitely worth taking a look at. There's good collection of professional development courses that I'll be giving a go soon. Tip: Like Coursera, you do pay for a full course to get a certificate of completion but it's really affordable at $20/mo for the monthly subscription and $15/mo for the yearly subscription. :)
