davidhill01 Clementine is available for 32-bit systems (of the sort that are perfect for recycling as jukeboxes). Strawberry only has 64-bit packages available.

I really enjoy the plug-in features that Audacious offers that I can't find anywhere else. For example, the built-in Dynamic Range Compressor (DRC) is ideal for me because I work in an office with other computer users. I set the DRC to eliminate most of the dynamic range, then I set my volume high enough to hear my tunes. I'll hear all of the music from the loud to quiet portions and I won't miss a thing!

flexid2000 Quod Libet is vastly expandible with plugins leaving no wishes unanswered, reading the library is dead fast and it looks well on all gnome/xfce/lxde environments.

It neatly integrates with the GTK environment which makes a very nice look. After studying the various features to tune queries it even equals clementine's intelligent playlist feature. A further plus: scanning a large music library is dead fast. I'll stick to it.
