    • Cryptomator does everything Boxcryptor does except it's free and open source, which means you can check the code for backdoors yourself, if you want. It also works on Linux, Mac and Windows. It makes encrypted copies of your files in a vault, which you can upload to, e.g. Dropbox, so that even Dropbox cannot see what you have in your files. Works with all cloud services. • Boxcryptor is proprietary and costs money. Cryptomator is open source (you can check that it's implemented correctly) and it is free. Moreover, it works on Linux, which Boxcryptor does not. Cryptomator is excellent and basically a Boxcryptor killer. Mobile versions are in beta/soon ready. JohnFastmanDec 2016 Disagree   Agree
