What is Blur?
Blur is better than a password manager: it secures ALL of your private information online.
In addition to securely saving your passwords, Blur makes it easy to anonymize your email address, credit card and phone number.
How does this anonymization work? The trick is a Blur feature called masking. Masked Emails, Masked Cards and Masked Phone Numbers are real, disposable alternatives to your email, credit card and phone number. Use them across the internet and keep your real info a secret.
Blur is also a tracker blocker. It'll prevent ad networks and data companies from gathering information about your browsing activity.
Comments and Reviews
Creating an email address is really easy, directly from form fields and is completely anonymous
I truly depend on this site to help give out masked email because in today's digital landscape one can never be too careful.
Do Masked Cards work internationally?
At this time, Masked Cards are available for US users only.
WARNING! They have leaked all user accounts, hashed passwords, email addresses, IP addresses and other user information in December 2018. They call themselves "privacy company", but experienced this breach.
I will delete the account now. I would not recommend this app to friends.
After 6 months of successful testings in both Chrome and iPhone App, I can honestly say: Blur saved me from lots of spam and unnecessary headaches.
Remarkable Features:
Pros:
Cons:
Compared to others: Works perfectly well along with 1Password (paid) or Lastpass (freemium) It cannot be compared or replaced by these two as the apps have unique features that are different and worth paying for a few dollars.
