What is AndroSearch?
Search INSIDE documents/files on your device like no other files manager/finder do. Featuring sub second, full text, Desktop Search in files content, and over apps names and description.
KEY FEATURES:
- Files Search - by name, extension, and full text search inside PDF, MS OFFICE, and Open Office.
- Recently Modified Files View - Care about recent files like pictures you took today, files you downloaded a minute ago, a document you recently edited? See them regardless of the folder they're in, with the innovative fast flat view of all files in the device SD card, sorted by when they were modified
- Apps Search - Search the apps you have installed by name, and in apps’ description on Google Play (Search "game" to see all the games you have installed).
- Instant Search: watch sub-second results come in as you type.
- Recently Installed Apps View - So you could easily get to the app you installed two days ago but can't remember its name.

Comments and Reviews
AndroSearch could index a (set of) folder(s) with PDF, Word, Text files. It would then return search results very quickly, even in PDF files. Used this as a tool to compensate for my memory-loss after a brain damage. Put a lot of documents with dropbox on my phone and could retreive things in an instant.
Now it's discontinued, so I have to look for something similar...
