If you're into journaling on Mac OS X or iOS then this is one of, if not the, best application available. Great syncing across devices and platforms, a clean and user-friendly UI and all the features you need to write and keep your ideas, memories and whatever you want keep in a secure journal.
Since our team is distributed over the world, and not two single people live in the same city, we use Slack as our digital office. It was recently updated with voice calling, which has pretty much replaced Skype for us.
