miniWE is a free .Net3.0 application. It is a combination of Quick Launch Bar and Windows Explore. When you click the program, it will pop up as an app launcher. In addition, it has the ability to browse through folders like a Windows Explore (some folders like MyDocument are not accessible under Windows Security System). Ketarin is a small application which automatically updates and optionally installs setup packages by monitoring web pages for changes. As opposed to other tools, Ketarin is not meant to keep your system up-to-date (like a package manager), but rather to maintain a compilation of all important setup packages which can then be burned to disc or put on a USB stick.

FastCopy is the fastest copy, delete, & sync software on Windows. It uses modern checksum verification to ensure copy accuracy and data integrity. Unison is a file-synchronization tool for POSIX-compliant systems (e.g. *BSD and GNU/Linux), macOS and Windows, with the caveat that the platform must be supported by OCaml. It allows two replicas of a collection of files and directories to be stored on different hosts (or different disks on the same host), modified separately, and then brought up to date by propagating the changes in each replica to the other.
Unison has been in use for over 20 years and many people use it to synchronize data they care about.
Unison shares a number of features with tools such as configuration management packages (CVS, Subversion, git, Mercurial, etc.), distributed filesystems (Coda, etc.), uni-directional mirroring utilities (rsync, etc.), and other synchronizers. However, there are several points where it differs:

This is a program for copying files and folders in alphabetical order. Windows rarely copies files or folders in the order you would expect. And normally this isn't a problem. But, on a flash-based MP3 player, the device may very well play the songs in the order they were copied, instead of alphabetically, or by track info. This program allows you to specify a source path (or paths), a destination path, and a file-type to copy. Then, either click COPY FILES and wait patiently, or click WRITE BAT, which will write out a .BAT file with all of the MKDIR commands, COPY commands, and DEL commands in it for reviewing/editing/running. The program has an option to overwrite existing files, and an option to remove files from the destination which no longer exist in the source.
FileMenu Tools lets you customize the context (right-click) menu of Windows Explorer. rsync is a software application for Unix which synchronizes files and directories from one location to another while minimizing data transfer using delta encoding when appropriate. An important feature of rsync not found in most similar programs/protocols is that the mirroring takes place with only one transmission in each direction. rsync can copy or display directory contents and copy files, optionally using compression and recursion.
In daemon mode, rsync listens on the default TCP port of 873, serving files in the native rsync protocol or via a remote shell such as RSH or SSH. In the latter case, the rsync client executable must be installed on both the local and the remote host.

Tagz: A file can only be in one folder. But with tags, a file can have multiple associations. However, most filesystems only support folders but not tags. That is what Tagz solves.
Tagz uses file names to store tags in brackets. This makes it better than most tags software which store tagz in a proprietary database. Since the tags are in the file names, they stay with the file when you move it to another computer or even to another operating system. Also, if you decide to stop using Tagz, you still have the tags with your files and you can use your operating system's search instead.
