Mid-Level Stereo Music Daws

This is my collection of mid-level "Stereo Music" Daw's suitable for intermediate music producers wishing to produce music in "stereo" with a traditional, side-scrolling interface. These Daw's are recommended for acoustic artists and bands, but are not recommended for EDM producers, composers or surround mixers and re-mixing engineers. Most of these Daw's are well-priced, do not use a great deal of system resources and are relatively easy to learn. However, these Daw's lack deeper features found in premium Daw's. These Daw's are not on the level of more richly featured Daw's like Logic, Sonar, Ardour, Digital Performer, Samplitude or Cubase. The Daw's listed below either entirely lack surround sound re-mixing/mixing or offer it on a level not considered professional. Some also lack viable Midi/CC creation, editing and orchestration. They also lack any viable scoring features such as sync accurate SMTPE video playback. Use the Daw's below to produce excellent stereo productions. If you are a composer however, these Daw's are not on the level. Remember, there are radically/fundamentally different Daw's for all sorts of purposes. This list includes "Stereo-Music-Production Daw's". You won't find Nuendo, Audition, Wavelab and other entirely non-related titles on this list.

$59.00. Cross-platform. Traditional side-scrolling Daw. No multi-channel mixing. No SMTPE, sync or score to picture features. Great interface, super-fast, lightweight and easy on system resources. One of the most underrated Daw's around. The absolute best Daw on the market for its features and price range. Includes a decent selection of plugs for mixing, mastering and FX, but you will need plenty of 3rd party plugs to get the job done. This Daw has everything a stereo music producer needs to produce a stereo production. Recommended for acoustic artists and bands.
