The correct apps to install on your computer
Install this instead of vanilla Scratch. I did one day when I wanted to fck around in Scratch and I may even open this app again someday, who knows.
The only private web browser. All other ones are ineffective.
Use this instead of VSCode. Just trust me bro
Momma always said to use protection. Install this if you like having the option to not open application links sometimes if you do not feel like it. Free security buff.
Pretty much a drop-in replacement for Google Chrome. Great browser for Chromium stuff, as long as you remove all the in-your-face crypto ads. I will switch back to using this browser as my default because it has great features in addition to the privacy things. Ad technology these days is vicious and predatory.
Use this instead of regular firefox. It has more features and is blue and blue is a pretty color. If you are a web developer, it is great because it makes the debugging experience better, and all you have to do to get it is install this version of Firefox instead.
In my very correct and unbiased opinion, the best, most balanced image editor for Windows platforms. Oh yeah also you can edit cursor files on it too, that's kinda nifty I guess.
Great image editor for anyone wanting a FOSS alternative to RWCE. I like its lazy brush feature, it makes more precise strokes easier.

I included this because my brain is too small for Inkscape.
Use this text editor if you use Rust lang.
🤓🤓🤓 but fun
Multimc but with features that the community has wanted for ages but the team didn't care about. It is also more "open-sourcy" as Multimc uses proprietary login methods. Install the native version over the Flatpak.
If you have Windows or a QT-based Linux distro, install this. It is a wonderful PDF viewer, and you don't have to open Microsoft Edge all the time or sell your immortal soul to Adobe.
Install this and thank me later for saving you hundreds of dollars on a shtty Microsoft subscription scam.
This is what I am stuck using on Linux because RWCE doesn't work with WINE.
Use this for sharing memes with your Chinese friends.
A very bloated electron/React app. If given the option, do not install this in the default directory because token logging is a real threat.
A wonderful soundboard app to annoy your Discord friends with. If given the option, do not use the Flatpak, use the native app.
lightweight music player with features out the nose
MSpaint but for audio
Use this to capture your desktop video. Yes it is a bit overwhelming at first, but the default settings aren't that bad either.
A less-bloated video editor without subscription pushing or anything like that. Very nice very nice
Virtualbox will let you run pretty much anything you want on the side, as long as you don't care about disk space.
I do not know why this does not come with most Linux distros that support Flatpaks. It is very necessary, and literally gives you a free settings menu.
Install FAF. If you are on Windows, it will be relatively straightforward, and if you manage to get it working on Linux, you need to go outside and touch some grass.
