Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe Inc. for Windows and macOS. It was originally created in 1988 by Thomas and John Knoll.
Since then, the software has become the industry standard not only in raster graphics editing, but in digital art as a whole. The software's name is often colloquially used as a verb (e.g. "to photoshop an image", "photoshopping", and "photoshop contest") although Adobe discourages such use. Photoshop can edit and compose raster images in multiple layers and supports masks, alpha compositing and several color models including RGB, CMYK, CIELAB, spot color, and duotone. Photoshop uses its own PSD and PSB file formats to support these features. In addition to raster graphics, Photoshop has limited abilities to edit or render text and vector graphics (especially through clipping path for the latter), as well as 3D graphics and video. Its feature set can be expanded by plug-ins; programs developed and distributed independently of Photoshop that run inside it and offer new or enhanced features.
Photoshop's naming scheme was initially based on version numbers. However, in October 2002 (following the introduction of Creative Suite branding), each new version of Photoshop was designated with "CS" plus a number; e.g., the eighth major version of Photoshop was Photoshop CS and the ninth was Photoshop CS2. Photoshop CS3 through CS6 were also distributed in two different editions: Standard and Extended. With the introduction of the Creative Cloud branding in June 2013 (and in turn, the change of the "CS" suffix to "CC"), Photoshop's licensing scheme was changed to that of software as a service subscription model. Historically, Photoshop was bundled with additional software such as Adobe ImageReady, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Device Central and Adobe Camera RAW.

PeerTube is a free, decentralized and federated video platform developed as an alternative to other platforms that centralize our data and attention, such as YouTube, Dailymotion or Vimeo. But one organization hosting PeerTube alone may not have enough money to pay for bandwidth and video storage of its servers, all servers of PeerTube are interoperable as a federated network, and non-PeerTube servers can be part of the larger Vidiverse (federated video network) by talking our implementation of ActivityPub. Video load is reduced thanks to P2P (BitTorrent) in the web browser via WebTorrent.
Video streaming Just upload your videos, and be sure they will stream anywhere. Add a description, some tags and your video will be discoverable by the entire video fediverse, not just your instance. You can even embed a player on your favorite website!
Keep in touch with video creators Follow your favorite channels from PeerTube or really any other place. No need to have an account on the instance you watched a video to follow its author, you can do all of that from the Fediverse (Mastodon, Pleroma…), or just with RSS.
An interface to call home Be it as a user or an instance administrator, you can decide what your experience will be like. Don't like the colors? They are easy to change. Don't want to list videos of an instance but let your users subscribe to them? Don't like the regular web client? All of that can be changed, and much more. No UX dark pattern, no mining your data, no video recommendation bullshit.
Communities that help each other In addition to visitors using WebTorrent to share the load among them, instances can help each other by caching one another's videos. This way even small instances have a way to show content to a wider audience, as they will be shouldered by friend instances. Content creators can get help from their viewers in the simplest way possible: a support button showing a message linking to their donation accounts or really anything else.
Mastodon is a Free and Open Source federated social network, made with a focus on more personal interaction.
The biggest difference between Mastodon and many other social networks is that even though a Mastodon website (called an instance) can operate alone, they can interoperate through AcitivityPub, letting their users on different, independent, instances communicate with each other. This is called federation, and it even works with instances running different software like PeerTube and Pixelfed

- No algorithm
- Completely Free and Open Source
- 500 character text limit
- Custom emojis

It is run by Paul Graham's investment fund and startup incubator, Y-Combinator, and is different from other social news websites in that there is no option to down vote submissions; submissions can either be voted up or not voted on at all, although spam submissions can be flagged. In contrast, comments can be down voted after a user accumulates sufficient "karma" or points gained when submissions or comments are voted up. In general, content that can be submitted is defined as "anything that gratifies one's intellectual curiosity"

Seamlessly take control of your personal information, no matter where the Internet takes you. At DuckDuckGo, we believe the Internet shouldn't feel so creepy, and getting the privacy you deserve online should be as simple as closing the blinds.
Our app provides the privacy essentials you need to seamlessly take control of your personal information as you search and browse the web, no matter where the Internet takes you:
• Escape Advertising Tracker Networks — Our Privacy Protection will block all the hidden third-party trackers we can find, exposing the major advertising networks tracking you over time, so that you can track who's trying to track you.
• Increase Encryption Protection — We force sites to use an encrypted connection where available, protecting your data from prying eyes, like ISPs.
• Search Privately — You share your most personal information with your search engine, like your financial, medical, and political questions. What you search for is your own business, which is why DuckDuckGo search doesn't track you. Ever.
• Decode Privacy Policies — We’ve partnered with Terms of Service Didn't Read to include their scores and labels of website terms of service and privacy policies, where available.
As you search and browse, the DuckDuckGo Privacy Browser shows you a Privacy Grade rating when you visit a website (A-F). This rating lets you see how protected you are at a glance, dig into the details to see who we caught trying to track you, and learn how we enhanced the underlying site's privacy measures. The Privacy Grade is scored automatically based on the prevalence of hidden tracker networks, encryption availability, and website privacy practices.
Our app provides standard browsing functionality including tabs, bookmarks, and autocomplete. In addition to strong Privacy Protection as described above, we also packed in some extra privacy features into the browser itself:

We think simple tools can help us all improve the quality of information on the Internet and in the greater world around us.
Our team is building an open platform for discussion on the web. It leverages annotation to enable sentence-level critique or note-taking on top of news, blogs, scientific articles, books, terms of service, ballot initiatives, legislation and more. Everything we build is guided by our principles. In particular that it be free, open, non-profit, neutral and lasting to name a few.
We create software, push for standards, and foster community.
We are a non-profit organization, funded through the generosity of the Knight, Mellon, Shuttleworth, Sloan and Helmsley Foundations– and through the support of hundreds of individuals like yourself that want to see this idea come to fruition. You can view our tax returns here.
Our efforts are based on the Annotator project, which we are principal contributors to, and annotation standards for digital documents being developed by the W3C Web Annotation Working Group. We are partnering broadly with developers, publishers, academic institutions, researchers, and individuals to develop a platform for the next generation of read-write Web applications. You can follow our development progress on our roadmap.

BrainTool is a way of organizing things you want to remember and get back to, using notes and nested Topics. Its also a better way to control your browser.
BrainTool is a unique combination of many features and best described as a ‘Topic Manager’. Like the best bookmarkers, BT makes it easy to capture and categorize pages, close them out and get back to them later. By using topics to control tab groups, BT replaces any need for tabs or sessions managers. Given its hierarchy of topics with TODO’s, notes and search, BT is also an entry level PKM tool and task manager. Finally, by providing open access in a well used data format, BrainTool can operate in conjunction with other tools in the category.
WizTree scans your entire hard drive and shows you which files and folders are using the most disk space. It does this VERY QUICKLY. In fact, we believe WizTree to be the fastest application of this type currently available! Use the information WizTree provides to quickly locate and remove "space hogs" from your hard drive.
Features
- Finds the files and folders using the most space on your hard drive
- Work VERY Fast! We think it's the fastest application of this type in the world!
- Finds the top 1000 largest files on your hard drive
- Sort the contents of your entire hard drive by folder size and optionally delete files and folders
How does it work? WizTree reads the hard drive's Master File Table (MFT) directly from the disk. The MFT is a special hidden file used by the NTFS file system to keep track of all files and folders on a hard drive. It's very fast because scanning for files this way completely bypasses the operating system (Windows).
Why are some of my drives not selectable? WizTree obtains information by directly scanning the the MFT file, so it can only work with local (directly attached) drives formatted with the NTFS file system. It won't work with network drives, substituted drives or non NTFS formatted drives. We may add support for other drive types in the future if there's enough demand.
Campfire Pro is a pre-writing software for writers. Its features include character sheets, an endless narrative timeline, and map support for world building.

The version 1.0 was introduced in 2002 by Brent Simmons. It included custom feed views, custom downloading and opening of podcasts, synchronization of feeds and feed status between computers, Bloglines support, and a built-in tabbed browser.
Over the years, new features were added (also support for iPhone and iPad) and it was acquired by NewsGator Technologies in 2005 and later by Black Pixel in 2011.
On August 31, 2018 Black Pixel announced that they have returned the NetNewsWire intellectual property to Brent Simmons, that completely rewrote the program as a Free and Opensource Mac RSS reader.
Now version 5.0 is at a very early stage and supports RSS, Atom, JSON Feed, and RSS-in-JSON formats.

A Vivaldi account gives access to the browser data sync, the Vivaldi Community (blogging platform), support forums and Vivaldi Webmail.
It's considered the spiritual successor of the original Opera browser before the complete rewrite that scrapped many of its features and options and the move of the ownership of Opera Software to a consortium of Chinese investors. Every tab you open in your browser raises money for your favorite charity. Get tabbing! It's free and only takes 15 seconds:
Tab for a Cause is a charitable organization that donates advertising revenue to causes around the world. With Tab for a Cause, you can raise money for charity simply by opening tabs in your internet browser. It is completely free, and it takes less than a minute to help out.
Tabox is a Chrome (and also other Chromium based browsers) extension to save open tabs and tab groups in collections that can be easily re-opened in a single click. You can also export and import collections, allowing you the option of sharing a group of tabs with others. Tabox allows you to sync your collections so you can have them in all your devices (Using your Google Drive account)
Save and restore the state of windows and tabs. Automatic saving is also possible, so it can be used as a backup when accidentally closing the window.
This extension provides the ability to work with tabs as "trees".
New tabs opened from the current tab are automatically organized as "children" of the current tab. Such "branches" are easily folded (collapsed) by clicking on the arrow shown in the "parent" tab, so you no longer need to suffer from too many visible tabs. If you want, you can restructure the tree via drag and drop.
- Such a tree of tabs will behave like a visual browsing history for you.
- For example, if you see a list of search results for a topic, each search result link will open in new child tab.
- New tabs opened from these "child" tabs will appear as descendants of their originating tabs.
- You'll easily dig and dig deeply, without losing your browsing trail - if you want to go back to the original search result, you just have to switch to the "root" tab.
- Moreover, each tree will reflect a group of tabs on a similar topic.
Please enjoy as you like!
Tips:
- "F1" key toggles the TST sidebar.
- "Tree Style Tab" toolbar button also toggles the sidebar. If it's unnecessary, you can remove it from the toolbar.
- Such a tree of tabs will behave like a visual browsing history for you.
Next Generation Session, Windows, Tabs Manager and a TooManyTabs Solution That Really Works.

Tampermonkey is a free browser extension and the most popular userscript manager for Blink- and WebKit-based Browsers like Chrome, Opera Next and Safari.
Even though some of the supported browsers have native userscript support, Tampermonkey will give you much more convenience in managing your userscripts. It provides features like easy script installation, automatic update checks, a simple overview what scripts are running at a tab, a built-in editor and there is a good chance that incompatible scripts run fine with Tampermonkey.
Tampermonkey is available for Google Chrome, Opera, Chromium, a lot of their derivatives and also Firefox and some Android browsers.
View Image adds the "Search by Image" and "View Image" buttons back to the Google Images results page.
Some web pages use intermediary pages before redirecting to a final page. This web extension tries to extract the final URL from the intermediary URL and goes there straight away if successful. As an example, try this URL:
www.google.com/chrome/?or-maybe-rather-firefox=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mozilla.org/
Please give feedback(see below) if you find websites where this fails or where you get redirected in a weird way when this add-on is enabled but not when it's disabled.
See the add-on's preferences (also available by clicking the toolbar icon) for options.
By default, all URLs but the ones matching a no-skip-urls-list are checked for embedded URLs and redirects are skipped. Depending on the pages visited, this can cause problems. For example, a dysfunctional login. The no-skip-urls-list can be edited to avoid these problems. There is also a skip-urls-list mode to avoid this kind of problem altogether. In skip-urls-list mode, all URLs for which redirects should be skipped need to be added to the skip-urls-list manually.
Some websites use multiple URL parameters like this:
www.example.com/page-we-want-to-skip?first=www.want-to-go-here.com&second=www.do-not-care-about-this-url.com
Skip Redirect does not know which is the right parameter, but you can edit the no-skip-parameter-list. Adding first would skip to the URL of second and vice versa. Adding both, first and second would cause no skipping.
The Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension lets you carve out a separate box for each of your online lives – no more opening a different browser just to check your work email! Here is a quick video showing you how it works.
Under the hood, it separates website storage into tab-specific Containers. Cookies downloaded by one Container are not available to other Containers. With the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension, you can...
Sign in to two different accounts on the same site (for example, you could sign in to work email and home email in two different Container tabs. Keep different kinds of browsing far away from each other (for example, you might use one Container tab for managing your Checking Account and a different Container tab for searching for new songs by your favorite band) Avoid leaving social-network footprints all over the web (for example, you could use a Container tab for signing in to a social network, and use a different tab for visiting online news sites, keeping your social identity separate from tracking scripts on news sites)
After installing the Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension, click the Containers icon to edit your Containers. Change their colors, names, and icons. Long-click the new tab button to open a new Container tab.
Privacy in Firefox Multi-Account Containers
The Firefox Multi-Account Containers extension does not send any information to Mozilla.
Haven't I seen this in Firefox before?
Firefox Multi-Account Containers was first introduced as "Containers" available only in Firefox Nightly. It went on to be a Test Pilot Experiment, where we improved the user experience and added new features. Now it exists here as an extension that can be installed by all Firefox users.
Although you can still use the feature built into Firefox Nightly, we recommend using this extension as it has a richer user experience.
Easily open disposable containers that isolate attached data and are deleted after usage: Fully automatic, based on navigation-target, for certain websites, with configured mouse clicks on links or just by using the toolbar icon.
Want to make the most out of Temporary Containers? Enable Automatic Mode! The Automatic Mode will overwrite your standard ways of opening new tabs - even when opened from an external program. Instead of opening tabs in No Container, it will open them in a freshly created Temporary Container. No more cookie, cache and storage collecting in one place, everything happens in its own isolated Temporary Container. If you enable Automatic Mode, you should also configure Mouse Clicks to open new Temporary Containers. Recommended preferences:
Isolation > Global > Mouse Clicks: Middle Mouse: Always
Control your cookies! This extension is inspired by Self-Destructing Cookies. When a tab closes, any cookies not being used are automatically deleted. Prevent tracking by other cookies and add only the ones you trust. Easily import and export your cookie whitelist.
Main features • Auto deletes cookies from closed tabs • Whitelist support for sites you want to keep cookies • Export or import your white list of cookies expressions/rules • Internationalization (i18n) • Available for both Chromium/Chrome and Firefox/Tor Browser • Open source. MIT License.
The EU regulations require that every website must get user's permission before installing cookies. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
This browser extension will remove these annoying cookie warnings from almost all websites :)
You can report any website which still warns you about cookies: make a right click and choose 'Report a cookie warning' from the menu.
This browser extension will always remain absolutely free!
An efficient blocker add-on for various browsers. Fast, potent, and lean.
uBlock Origin is NOT an "ad blocker": it is a wide-spectrum blocker -- which happens to be able to function as a mere "ad blocker". The default behavior of uBlock Origin when newly installed is to block ads, trackers and malware sites -- through EasyList, EasyPrivacy, Peter Lowe’s ad/tracking/malware servers, Online Malicious URL Blocklist, and uBlock Origin's own filter lists.

Because modern websites are complicated and often rely on dynamic content, ArchiveBox archives the sites in several different formats beyond what public archiving services like Archive.org and Archive.is are capable of saving.
ArchiveBox imports a list of URLs from stdin, remote url, or file, then adds the pages to a local archive folder using wget to create a browsable html clone, youtube-dl to extract media, and a full instance of Chrome headless for PDF, Screenshot, and DOM dumps, and more...
Using multiple methods and the market-dominant browser to execute JS ensures we can save even the most complex, finicky websites in at least a few high-quality, long-term data formats.
Can import links from:
- Pocket, Pinboard, Instapaper
- RSS, XML, JSON, or plain text lists
- Browser history or bookmarks (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, IE, Opera, and more)
- Shaarli, Delicious, Reddit Saved Posts, Wallabag, Unmark.it, and any other text with links in it!
Can save these things for each site:
- favicon.ico favicon of the site
- example.com/page-name.html wget clone of the site, with .html appended if not present
- output.pdf Printed PDF of site using headless chrome
- screenshot.png 1440x900 screenshot of site using headless chrome
- output.html DOM Dump of the HTML after rendering using headless chrome
- archive.org.txt A link to the saved site on archive.org
- warc/ for the html + gzipped warc file <timestamp>.gz
- media/ any mp4, mp3, subtitles, and metadata found using youtube-dl
- git/ clone of any repository for github, bitbucket, or gitlab links
- index.html & index.json HTML and JSON index files containing metadata and details
The archiving is additive, so you can schedule ./archive to run regularly and pull new links into the index. All the saved content is static and indexed with JSON files, so it lives forever & is easily parseable, it requires no always-running backend.

Bitwarden is the easiest and safest way to store all of your logins and passwords while conveniently keeping them synced between all of your devices.
Password theft is a serious problem. The websites and apps that you use are under attack every day. Security breaches occur and your passwords are stolen. When you reuse the same passwords across apps and websites hackers can easily access your email, bank, and other important accounts.
Security experts recommend that you use a different, randomly generated password for every account that you create. But how do you manage all those passwords? Bitwarden makes it easy for you to create, store, and access your passwords.
Bitwarden stores all of your logins in an encrypted vault that syncs across all of your devices. Since it's fully encrypted before it ever leaves your device, only you have access to your data. Not even the team at Bitwarden can read your data, even if we wanted to. Your data is sealed with AES-256 bit encryption, salted hashing, and PBKDF2 SHA-256.
Bitwarden is 100% open source software. The source code for Bitwarden is hosted on GitHub and everyone is free to review, audit, and contribute to the Bitwarden codebase.

FFmpeg is the leading multimedia framework, able to decode, encode, transcode, mux, demux, stream, filter and play pretty much anything that humans and machines have created. It supports the most obscure ancient formats up to the cutting edge. No matter if they were designed by some standards committee, the community or a corporation. It is also highly portable: FFmpeg compiles, runs, and passes our testing infrastructure FATE across Linux, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, the BSDs, Solaris, etc. under a wide variety of build environments, machine architectures, and configurations.
It contains libavcodec, libavutil, libavformat, libavfilter, libavdevice, libswscale and libswresample which can be used by applications. As well as ffmpeg, ffplay and ffprobe which can be used by end users for transcoding and playing.
The FFmpeg project tries to provide the best technically possible solution for developers of applications and end users alike. To achieve this we combine the best free software options available. We slightly favor our own code to keep the dependencies on other libs low and to maximize code sharing between parts of FFmpeg. Wherever the question of "best" cannot be answered we support both options so the end user can choose.
Everyone is welcome in FFmpeg and all contributions are welcome too. We are happy to receive patches, pull requests, bug reports, donations or any other type of contribution.
Security is a high priority and code review is always done with security in mind. Though due to the very large amounts of code touching untrusted data security issues are unavoidable and thus we provide as quick as possible updates to our last stable releases when new security issues are found.
yt-dlp is a youtube-dl fork based on the now inactive youtube-dlc. The main focus of this project is adding new features and patches while also keeping up to date with the original project.
The major new features from the latest release are:
-
SponSkrub Integration: You can use SponSkrub to mark/remove sponsor sections in YouTube videos by utilizing the SponsorBlock API
-
Format Sorting: The default format sorting options have been changed so that higher resolution and better codecs will be now preferred instead of simply using larger bitrate. Furthermore, you can now specify the sort order using -S. This allows for much easier format selection than what is possible by simply using --format (examples)
-
Merged with youtube-dl commit/379f52a: (v2021.06.06) You get all the latest features and patches of youtube-dl in addition to all the features of youtube-dlc
-
Merged with animelover1984/youtube-dl: You get most of the features and improvements from animelover1984/youtube-dl including --write-comments, BiliBiliSearch, BilibiliChannel, Embedding thumbnail in mp4/ogg/opus, playlist infojson etc. Note that the NicoNico improvements are not available. See #31 for details.

Mod Organizer 2 is a mod manager created by Tannin to support 64bit games like Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4 in addition to all the 32bit games MO1 already supported. Tannin discontinued the project when he was hired by the Nexus team to develop their new Vortex mod manager. MO2 was not completed and was left with many issues. LePresidente managed to fix it to a usable state by himself after SkyrimSE came out, adding support for it, and releasing v2.0.8.
Mod Organizer 2 (MO2) is a feature rich Mod Manager. MO2 is very advanced and specialized for Bethesda games. Here is the list of supported titles:
- Morrowind
- Oblivion
- Fallout 3
- Fallout NV
- Tale of Two Wastelands (TTW)
- Skyrim
- Skyrim SE
- Skyrim VR
- Fallout 4
- Fallout 4 VR
- Enderal (Steam Edition)
What distinguishes MO2 from more traditional mod managers is the idea of not modifying the "vanilla" game installation in any way. Mods are not actually installed in the game folder but instead are kept each in their own separate folders. The game INI configuration files are not touched and instead MO2 uses it's own set. This way mods are only "active" if the game is started from MO2, while if it's started normally it will be in it's "vanilla" unmodded state.
What this means for users is that enabling/disabling mods doesn't actually require any file transfers, it can be done instantly. The order in which mods are "installed" can also be modified at any moment with drag & drop, easily changing which mods are winning file conflicts.
Users can change the entire setup with a couple of click by using different Profiles of enabled mods. Each profile has it's own order of mods and plugins and even it's own set of INI files, different from the ones in MyGames which are left untouched.
Raindrop.io saves not just bookmarks but associated content depending on page type.

Available from a web interface, browser extension & mobile apps.
