This is a list I wanted to make, to show you the biggest collection of the best apps I found in each category. These are the programs that I personally use in daily basis. (Included sections are Windows Programs, Browser Extensions, Android Apps.)
Windows Programs
The best and most lightweight chromium browser with all the essentials features included.

Dopamine is an audio player which tries to make organizing and listening to music as simple and pretty as possible. It can play wav, mp3, ogg vorbis, flac, wma and m4a/aac.
Picard is the next generation MusicBrainz tagging application. This new tagging concept is album oriented, as opposed to track/file oriented like the ClassicTagger was. Picard is written in Python, which is a cross-platform language, and makes use of cross-platform libraries - this allows the same code to run both on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.
Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) is an extremely light-weight, open source media player for Windows®. Media Player Classic Home Cinema supports all common video and audio file formats available for playback. Based on the original Guliverkli project, Media Player Classic Home Cinema contains a lot of additional features and bug fixes. Plus Media Player Classic Home Cinema is 100% spyware free, there are no advertisements or toolbars.
About
Development of the original MPC-HC project has ended. The few other developers that were involved have all lost interest.
But don't worry, MPC-HC is still very much alive!
My repository is a continuation of the original MPC-HC project.
I have been involved in MPC development for almost 15 years, even before MPC-HC existed, so consider my builds as the new 'official' releases.
Development state
MPC-HC does not have many active developers right now. So don't expect much new functionality or other big changes. The player already is mature and provides all functionality that most people need. MPC-HC is open source, so anyone who is interested can contribute fixes and improvements. You can submit patches to me, and when I think your change is useful, I will gladly include it in a future build.

Jackett works as a proxy server: it translates queries from apps Sonarr Radarr SickChill CouchPotato DuckieTV etc) into tracker-site-specific http queries, parses the html response, then sends results back to the requesting software. This allows for getting recent uploads (like RSS) and performing searches. Jackett is a single repository of maintained indexer scraping & translation logic - removing the burden from other apps.
Developer note: The software implements the Torznab (with nZEDb category numbering) and TorrentPotato APIs.

LibreOffice - Impress , a presentation program resembling Microsoft PowerPoint . Presentations can be exported as SWF files, allowing them to be viewed on any computer with Adobe Flash installed.
LibreOffice - Draw , a vector graphics editor and diagramming tool similar to Microsoft Office Visio . It provides connectors between shapes, which are available in a range of line styles and facilitate building drawings such as flowcharts. It also includes features similar to desktop publishing software such as Scribus and Microsoft Office Publisher .
LibreOffice - Math , an application designed for creating and editing mathematical formulae. LibreOffice - Base , a database management program, similar to Microsoft Office Access .
Advanced Malware removal. Not so good real time protection though.
Task Manager Alternative
CrystalDiskInfo is a HDD/SSD utility software which supports S.M.A.R.T.
It shows the health status much more clearly than similar tools.
The "Function / Graph" is especially interesting for the "Reallocated Sectors Count". If it increases over time or is very high already, the hard drive may need to be replaced. More than 30 languages.
Hard disk drive health inspection tool
GSmartControl is a graphical user interface for smartctl (from smartmontools package), which is a tool for querying and controlling SMART (Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology) data on modern hard disk drives. It allows you to inspect the drive's SMART data to determine its health, as well as run various tests on it.
GSmartControl can let you know in advance of failing that the drive has errors. Since a hard drive which has errors can be slower as well as fail at any time, it can help you justify spending time to back up your data or upgrade your hard drive.
Recuva (pronounced "recover") is a freeware Windows utility to restore files that have been accidentally deleted from your computer. This includes files emptied from the Recycle bin as well as images and other files that have been deleted by user error from digital camera memory cards or MP3 players. It will even bring back files that have been deleted from your iPod, or by bugs, crashes and viruses!
Telegram is a messaging app created by former VK creators with a focus on speed and security. It’s superfast, simple and free. It is like SMS, but more powerful.

Warden is a FOSS app management utility. Warden has a static curated list of known trackers (Exodus Privacy) , each app's dex file is read to retrieve the class names, these class names are then matched with the signatures of known trackers & loggers to find them. A list of currently known trackers & loggers can be found here & here Loggers in the context of Warden means all utilities which are used to log user activity on an app or logcat in general. Not all loggers are evil. But few logging tools like ACRA, xLog are very powerful tools that can send user data to devs without user's consent. So do read the app's Privacy Policy, beforehand. Warden uses su pm to manage the components.
