Free File Converter (http://alternativeto.net/software/freefileconvertcom) is a very flexible file conversion service including text-OCR-recognition with conversion pdf to doc, pdf or tif or gif or jpg to txt. I have tested the OCR-function with gif-,tif- and jpg-files with optical text-information and proofed, that it can recognize characters or words from an image, as an OCR (optical character recognition) normally does. So I think it is an alternative to Novadys OCR service. Try to convert text from a jpg- or tif document, and you will see, that it works.

I have learned only latin language and my very poor italian language knowledge is not good enough to find the link myself.

Will there be a webOS section? Mobile OS from Palm/HP? They are planning to release more phones, tablets and printers. Any chance of adding it? I would notify the right people right away and get lots of attention. Large webOS community.
