I am interested in empiric reports with PROs + CONs of applications. I am a fan of AlternativeTo.net & enjoy to find and give here comparative information about distinguishing application features. I use Vista + WinXP, I like Win7, virtual machines, Windows Mobile.
Oh, I know it's your screenshot because you mentioned "Run missed backups" problem in comment section. And the screenshot have note typed in red mentioning the same problem. Anyway, thanks for your time to test out different backup application and making the comparison chart. It's very helpful.
Sincerely sorry for deleting a screenshot of Cobian Backup with your annotation regarding "Run missed backups". I just install CB via allmyapps.com and the interface looks different than your screenshot. There were already 2 different set of screenshot on there, the other set looks like mine. Your set has windows border like that of windows 2000 so I assume new version no longer has that function. But then I later discovered that my version is actually an old version 9.
The Novadys site had a restyling, so I searched for the new link of OCR Web Service and I discovered that the service isn't available anymore :( . I'll set the app as Discontinued.

I noticed that unMHT has several alternatives from the mobile app section. http://alternativeto.net/desktop/unmht/ Since you were the one who added unMHT to AlternativeTo, I'd like to ask: how did you do that? When I try to add a mobile app as an alternative to a desktop app, nothing shows up. :P

I have fixed this now. It did not have to do with the dot. I actually do not know what has happened .. some kind of data error :)

I haven't fixed that bug yet. Will look into it. Keep in mind that you cant delete comments and do not post double ;)
I also have some other questions and "directions". Please do not add stuff like "Beta" or version number to applications. It will only make it hard for us to keep them "up to date". Much better to just name them with thier name.
And what was that "TeamViewer German" thing you added? The app is called TeamViewer right?

UltraSurf is first in the list since it has the most views (most often meaning many people are looking to replace it, but sometime many people are interested in that application). We have added some new filters for listing apps (to the left). I agree that the malware-rumors are very important and we hope that the info we put there is enough.
No problem. We go a notice about the app beeing edited so I checked it quick and saw that the icon was among the screenshots as well. So I just deleted it. Thanks for helping out! We will have a look and see if we can find any bug.
I will talk to my colleague (Ola) about the suggestion about links as well.
Just to let you know - I have received 4 of the messages. I'm using Chrome Beta, for what it's worth. Much as I love Firefox, I haven't installed it on my windows box, which is more for gaming than surfing.
And just to say. I have still not figured out why you get an error on the notifications page. I will do some more research into that tomorrow. Unfortunately i will probably get drunk tonight so it may take awhile ;)

Please DO NOT upload exe files. That is not a good idea at all :)
We probably should have support for .ico files and you should definitely get an error message that says that it's not possible. We should support png and gif files (and very soon also jpg files, just have to upload the code).
I saw that you added an icon for AOL mail. Try to find a icon that is larger then 32x32. If you look to the right in the Add/Edit application form we provide a link for a Google Image search for a png icon. That usually works :)
Does it work now? I have made some changes but i didn't really find the actual bug. But maybe my changes can give me some more info or it may even work.
At least i have fixed the bug you had with writing long messages and special characters (you used < >) in comments.

And you still see "9 new notifications" in the top bar? I have found your errors in the error log but i can't manage to recreate them. I will keep trying.
