I am a graphics desginer. I have done sound, video, and photo editing. I know some program code. I have used Windows, and some Mac, but use SuperOS (ubuntu/linux) as my main OS. I have found lots of free programs & alternatives. It's going to take me many months to add all the ones that I know of.
Aaron, I noticed that we had Skale Tracker in the database twice. I merged your description, screenshots and alternatives with the one I added and deleted the old entry. I chose to keep the newer entry since your entry had a spelling error in the URL (scale instead of skale) and there is no way of fixing the URL at the moment. Hope that is fine with you.
