One of the nice facts about NetBeans is, that it allows (almost) WYSIWYG GUI building with 'Java Swing' (where the user obtains a Design pane which syncs with a Source pane), or with 'JavaFX', although I've only experimented with Java Swing. While NetBeans has limited support for some other, Web-server-oriented languages, it has no support for C#. Also, NetBeans has support for 'Java EE', which is now called 'Jakarta EE', and for the 'Tomcat' Web-server.
