WinZip is a proprietary file archiver and compressor. It allows you to easily zip (compress) and unzip (decompress) files, encrypt zipped files, and email zipped files. WinZIP natively uses the ZIP and ZIPX formats but also has various levels of support for other archive formats. For older versions of WinZip, you can use the trial version indefinitely.
