This is kind of nice because it'll use native file structure for organization, and it keeps just about everything in the metadata of the image which makes it sync-able to my laptop.

Ughh.. I did really like Window Live Photo Gallery until the new Beta came out.. I can't stand it now and may actually switch back to Picasa. Fundamentally, two items make the tool completely unusable to me:
- In the left navigation area, you could choose between folders, dates, etc. Now, your only option in the left navigation are is folders - irregardless if you sort by date or some other mechanism.
- This one is harder to describe but focusing in to one picture to edit/zoom/etc is somehow just not right. It's not usable -- it's hard to get back to the album view.

I've tried so far: Picasa, ACDSee, Lightroom and for my needs it takes them all.
It is easy to use, integrates with all kinds of online services (using flickr with Picasa was really annoying) and supports tagging.

I like.
