Unlocker does only one thing, but does it good. I believe someday Windows will me smart enough to unlock files without some external help. But until that happy day we have Unlocker :)
I am sure it's 64 bit version. It was working for a while. Maybe some recent Windows update kill it.
I can’t load Unlocker on my Windows 7 x64 laptop. I check the log and found this event\??\C:\Program Files (x86)\Unlocker\UnlockerDriver5.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.
Any idea why?
Whilst it seems less powerful under Vista compared to XP, I still think this is a really useful app. It is portable small under 50KB (deleting unnecessary files UPXing) and can be used with the "Send To" function in the mouse context menu.
This software really helpful and easy to use.
When you cannot delete some file, just right click on that file and choose Unlocker.
