Toast is a bloated application, generates an extraordinary number of coasters, and has exhibited few compelling reasons to upgrade aside from plain old OS compatibility. In desperation, I tried Burn and it worked flawlessly first time. I'm not saying Burn is a complete replacement for Toast. Burn does everything that any burning software MUST do, and a few things that are nice-to-haves. I'm sure that there's some stuff that Toast can do that Burn can't. But there is really no reason on Earth why you should not try Burn first before you fork out money for Toast. Because you may not ever need to. And that's a good thing.
