Toast is a bloated application, generates an extraordinary number of coasters, and has exhibited few compelling reasons to upgrade aside from plain old OS compatibility.

In desperation, I tried Burn and it worked flawlessly first time. I'm not saying Burn is a complete replacement for Toast. Burn does everything that any burning software MUST do, and a few things that are nice-to-haves. I'm sure that there's some stuff that Toast can do that Burn can't. But there is really no reason on Earth why you should not try Burn first before you fork out money for Toast. Because you may not ever need to. And that's a good thing.

I have Toast Titanium 10 with the Blu Ray plugin but I really have no idea how to work it. From what I see from fiddling with the program, you can't burn a disk using a protected DVD, you first have to decrypt them using programs similar to MacTheRipper to get the Video_TS folder. If you have any idea how to use this program to burn a Blu Ray or DVD using a Video_TS folder from a DVD, please comment. Although they should have a tutorial somewhere, they should atleast give you an idea of how to use it.
