On windows vista/2008/7 the dynamic port range complies with IANA by default.

Dynamic and/or Private Ports (49152-65535)

In an elevated command prompt, use the following command to check:

netsh interface ipv4 show dynamicportrange tcp

To set it back to default use:

netsh interface ipv4 set dynamicportrange tcp 49152 16384
