Springpad is phenomenal and totally under-rated. Great Android app. Great search, social integrations. Just really solid. Check it out. Way better than Evernote. The web UI is very intuitive too.
Yeah, Springpad is totally under rated. I've seriously been searching here and everywhere else on the web for the best to-do, note taker, bookmarker, etc Web/iOS/Android app... AND NOTHING BEATS THIS. I've finally decided to stay on springpad.
I found Evernote annoying and the limitations placed on free accounts were especially frustrating, Springpad is the best free alternative I have found!

I used Evernote for 8 months and found it frustrating to use especiall with the mobile apps. Since is started using Spring pad i have drpped Evernote. However once they implement an offline windows app or a backup/download option it'll be 5/5 for me.
I totally agree with dep here. Evernote seems not well organized for me, in fact it's a mess and hard to understand because of that. Springpad is simple and the minimalistic way to show you info make it easy to digest and understand.
