OBS is a high-quality streaming/recording software because of its lack of watermarks being plastered across the record. OBS is a little difficult to use but it is worth it in its overall product. Fraps is equally as good in my opinion.

OBS doesn't have pause feature, you should stop your video whenever you need to pause it.
