A free application designed to find similar images (duplicates) on your HDD.
SimilarImages will try to determine similar images in your dropped files. Then it displays results pair-wise, so that you may manage them easily.
How does SimilarImages find those similar images?
It uses a somewhat modified version of the "Quadrant RGB" algorithm and futhermore considers some other meta-information provided by the source files.
This basicially means: the images will be split into quadrants and average RGB values are computed.
Pairs that have pretty "close" avg. numbers are considered being "similar".
