ADVANCED Codecs for Windows 7 and 8 Comments

It stealthily installs 2 browser toolbars

about ADVANCED Codecs for Windows 7 and 8 and CCCP: Combined Community Codec Pack Jun 2011

Back when Windows 7 was in beta, this was the only codec pack that worked for me. Now, I have no reason to use it, and refuse to do so because as of v.283 (and possibly sometime prior), it stealthily installs two browser toolbars: Ask and Bing. Combined Community Codec Pack may have an older release date than Shark007 (which is oddly updated at least once per week.. why?), but CCCP supports everything I've thrown at it without the bundled junk.
