Just to be clear, there is absolutely no difference between the seas0npass jailbreak and the PwnageTool jailbreak, as far as the user can tell. Both programs accomplish, more or less, the same thing.

However, seas0npass is a little easier to use than Pwnagetool- seas0npass downloads the required ipsw ("iPhone Software") file automatically, while Pwnagetool users have to get the file themselves. Seas0npass also restores your Apple TV to the jailbroken ipsw file automatically, while Pwnagetool requires you to do this yourself, too. Basically, seas0npass is a bit more hands-free, while Pwnagetool is for advanced users.

The main disadvantage for seas0npass is that the jailbreak is tethered, meaning you need to connect your Apple TV to your computer and run this program every time you want to boot it up. Though to be honest, you're not going to need to boot up your Apple TV very much; most days, it will just stay in standby mode on your TV set.
