I tested Revo Uninstaller Pro and it left pieces of a trial version of an app behind.

I've always liked Revo, though it's a bit dangerous. But now it's too expensive and the free version is too limited. I'm looking for an alternative.

Couldn't agree more. Well... I have always found the UI to be lacking/glitchy, which makes me trust it less, and it screwed over my box once when uninstalling VMware Workstation...

The only problem I've encountered with Revo is that it keeps trying to uninstall Steam whenever I try to uninstall a Steam game. Nevertheless, the lack of a batch-delete feature is annoying.

Been using the crappy old version of Revo for a while, but it is extremely... sl... o..w... This, in combination with the fact that their current website blows ass and looks like some generic scam-site, I've been a little sceptical to the new version. However, tested latest version of Revo now and, by golly, it is sooo much better.

Best program to uninstall those hard to remove programs by far, it has everything you want and more. The pro version does add great features but if you cant afford it the free version will suit you just fine :D

Recommend this to anyone, Windows doesn't do a good job uninstalling programs as it tends to ignore items left behind. The only thing that could improve this program is a monitoring option at the beginning, but still very good. Also portable.

Well, it definitely uninstalls the program. So mission accomplished.

I have loved Revo Uninstaller for years. However with the 64 bit being pay only I can appreciate the author wanting to be paid for his effort, but $39 for one license, looking for alternatives already.
