Rename-It! can rename in seconds multiple files, that can be in different folders. It is incorporated in the Windows Shell (via Explorers context menu). Before renaming files, Rename-It checks the files names. The renaming itself is done by filters: * Search & Replace: Replace a string by another. One of the best renamers I've ever used. Tried Bulk Rename Utility, Ant Renamer, and several others, but always fall back to this one. Supports regular expressions and MP3 ID3 info. But doesn't support image info (IPTC or EXIF data). I wish it did.
